Is this exclusively for dust when sanding or may it be used for cleaning something that’s been on the shelf for a bit?

Can technically be used to "dust off" any debris from surfaces. Just recommend cleaning out the brush after use.

I like
Bristles are soft enough to sweep dust off but also stiff enough to get into panel lines without deforming before reaching the bottom. I like this. It's 4/5 stars because $7 USD is a bit much for just a brush, but whatever. It does the job quite well.
