Questions

Question
Why does it say that "raser" comes from "combining" gate & eraser, when it's just an abbreviated version of eraser alone?
Answer
I have been informed that the answer to my question likely involves the kanji: I think that they are referring to the Kanji, which if you take the katakana for "Gate" and "Eraser" ("Raisei" and "Erasua" respectively), and combine them, could end up with "Raiserua".

Question
Do you know if this is the 1.0 or the 1.5?
Answer
Likely the 1.5, as we believe they are only producing the updated version from here on out.

Question
Would sanding plastic cement with the Raser damage it in any way?
Answer
Plastic cement should not be leaving any residue during use. It’s a solvent that melts and bonds the plastic as it cures. You are left with plastic in the end. If using CA glue, it may not produce the same cutting power and finish as plastics.

Amazing!

I recently went from wire cutters/sandpaper to this file and Godhand nippers and it's changed my life. I am excited to sit down and build and my parts are cleaner and better than ever before in easily half or less time than I was spending previously.

Luxury turned Essential

Bought it out of curiosity and I haven't needed a sanding-stick since. Works best with something to buff a nice sheen.
