This kit was a lot of fun to build. I didn't have any issues with loose parts, but I also custom painted the runners beforehand. Maybe that helps. The build wasn't difficult and the end result is very pleasing. Love the little "glass" joints and the silver weapons. I will say the kit is very small, so if you have big fingers you might want to use tweezers or pliers to help with some of the fittings. I will most likely build the MG version and compare.

Look-wise, the Exia is sharp with decent stickers, although I still recommend buying water slides. Mechanically, it was sturdy and well-articulated and did not break when I (sadly) dropped it. As for assembly, it was difficult. I had a hard time with the shoulders and the head as I'm not as experienced with smaller kits. Additionally, the assembly was difficult in itself. Not a great kit for beginners, but the end result was lovely, and I still like the Exia today.

Wasn’t really a fan of this one, worst kit I’ve done of any grade. The almost every section you build has an issue that goes with it. The “gn cables”, head, skirt, toes, and arm blade were terrible imo. Nearly every Gn cable I put it sprang out. The head itself forced me to put this kit away for a few days because it’s so frustrating, a piece of the face broke and the face bits just never snapped together right. The skirt pieces were a nightmare to snap together. The toes don’t exactly snap on and they could pop off never to be seen again. The main arm blade is really loose on the arm and trying to bend the arm will cause it to fall off 🤷‍♂️ I basically a 00 version of dantalion on my shelf now, I don’t really recommend this for someone’s first RG though but if you like exia or want to add it to your 00 collection then be weary lol
