MG Gundam Barbatos

Model Kit

Out of stock
"Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans" Gundam Barbatos 4th form, the leading role, appears as MG! The internal mechanism Gundam frame and Ahub reactor are thoroughly reproduced! Color reproduction by molding color applied in parts, expansion gimmick for more dynamic movement, abundant optional parts. The amount of information is appropriate as a master grade.
■ The set color of the fourth form exterior is faithfully reproduced with the molding color. The density and amount of information unique to MG is overwhelming.
■ Gundam frame which is internal structure deeply verifies the setting in the play and reproduces to details. The cylinder uses silver plating.
■ A gimmick that rotates on the Ahub reactor on the chest is installed for the first time as an MG.
■ The movable frame incorporated in the upper body links the internal frame, cylinder, and armor. This makes it possible to produce a lively posing.
■ The shoulder cylinder reproduces the mechanical structure that follows the movement to pull out. The aggressive posing of Barbatos can be expressed.
■ Knee is movable by interlocking the frame and cylinder. By pulling out the parts on the back of the knee, the range of motion is expanded, allowing natural standing knees.
■ In the stand-by position, it reproduces the swing to the left and right and the movable axis of the hip joint. You can enjoy a waiting pose with a characteristic view.
■ Three types of hand parts are included. The weapon is attached to the palm of the hand along with the fingers of the weapon holder.
■ Mace can slide the grip and tip.
■ The slide gun has a slide / folding gimmick. Pursuing ease of play with the lock mechanism.

Great build

Overall a great build and must have! Its departure from the traditional mobile suit design made it a unique build. Added custom LED and panel lining.

The Perfect MG

We waited soooo long for an MG Barbatos and what we got did not dissapoint. This kit is literally the best MG ive ever seen. It looks incredible and truly captures the menacing demonic look Barbatos is meant to exude. The build was fun and very logical, and it is solid as an absolute rock. I can pose this thing in some pretty amazing ways and even with all its weapons attached its not a floppy mess. I cannot wait for more IBO MGs if this is our baseline. Do yourself a favor and grab the Delpi Holo decal set to take this to the next level. Or weather it to give it that battledamaged look.

Epic Build

This is hands down the best master grade I’ve ever build. From the highly detailed complete inner frame to the clear armor pieces that are begging you to install LEDs, it’s simply amazing. Super fun and straight forward build.

best master grade ever

This kit is so good that it makes me wish bandai would release a PG barbatos. Everything about this kit looks good, and the articulation is amazing. The hands could be better with the weapons but with some elbow grease you can fit them on.

Great except weapon holding

Definitely a solid kit. Great detailing and articulation, and joints don't feel flimsy. But I ended up taking off one star because Barbatos doesn't hold weapons firmly. This results from nature of MG hands a (which is why I prefer HG and RG kits' hands over MG kits'); despite this is a generic MG problem, Barbartos happens to be on the bad end among MG kits I've assembled so far. Only the katana can be firmly held while other weapons don't stay in place very well. The fingers pop off easily when I try to work things out. In the end I can't enjoy posing this Gunpla as much I do when posing some RG kits.
