Is it possible to sharpen the blade on these or do you just have to buy another one?
Answer
Sharpening nippers may improve near term effectiveness at the cost of shortening the tool's lifespan. There are youtube tutorials on how to do it.

Can these nippers cut hard clear plastic (Such as the clear plastic on the destroy mode Unicorn Gundam) and rubbery plastic (Like beam sabers)?
Answer
Yes to both. As long as the gates are under 3mm across and you don’t use the blade tip to cut harder plastics, you shouldn’t have any issues. Always make perpendicular cuts as side cuts puts undue stress on the blade and may cause it to snap.

Of course… not? The SPN-120 doesn’t come in any other packaging.

Smooth cuts
These are my first pair of nippers ever as I just got into the hobby so I can't compare them to anything else. However, these things cut through the plastic super easy and have had no issues after 2 kits. Only time will tell how long they'll last but so far they're making my life easier.

Fragile.
I used this thing on two kits, and the left blade cracked. Maybe I was too hard on it, but I found it to be really fragile. Although when I used it on those two kits it was pure bliss and the best cutting experience I've ever had.
