May 18, 2022Question
What action base is compatible with the model?
Answer
Technically it's compatible with most Bandai bases, but I wouldn't recommend using anything smaller than a #1 or #4 if you don't want it falling over, I'd personally pick the #1 because in my experience it's better for MGs but that's just my subjective opinion

January 30, 2024Question
does this come with the double-bladed beam scythe or would that be a different model kit
Answer
The double-bladed EW head attachment comes with the P-Bandai Glory of Losers set. If you're looking for the stacked beam version, that's from the TV Deathscythe Hell. Currently, only a P-Bandai HG kit is available for that (there are also some very vintage out-of-print kits).

Awesome Design
Killer silhouette and very faithful to the Katoki design. Side skirts are a pain, though.

Showing Its Age...
It's a very standard, no frills MG build but has some issues, especially when built next to modern high-end 3rd party kits or even the MG Vidar. There are polycaps everywhere, very few panel lining groves in the entire kit (most are part seams), the wings are frustrating to assemble and bafflingly constructed, while being extremely limited in articulation, and the skirt side pieces fall off if you look at it wrong and are a pain to reattach. It really shows how far bandai engineering has come since 2011, but there are much better kits to spend your time and money on, unless you're deeply in love with the design. In which case, knock yourself out.

Duo Maxwell done justice
If you like Gundam Wing this is an easy recommendation. This is arguably the best looking of the all the Wing designs with one hangup. The skirt armor consistently falls out, if that’s a deal breaker I’d stay away. For a small master grades it has plenty of presence due to the Bat Wings. This kit is a good time

The greatest thing on earth
It was a perfect build for Halloween time and everything went smoothly other than one part on the wings, but overall seems super mobile and secure

Most angry and annoyed I have been with a gundam
For me it was terrible the wings didn't want to connect and the wings are too heavy for it to stay up without something helping it up from behind. I eventually just took it apart and used it for kitbashing.
