Is this PG ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam the larger version of MGEX Strike Freedom Gundam?
Answer
No. It’s more so the primary predecessor of the MGEX, due to how it was engineered long before MGEX was even a concept in Bandai’s arsenal.

PG is always 1/60 while MG is 1/100.
This PG does not have the LED from the MGEX nor the articulation, nor does it have the same pieces of gold on gold on gold inner frame. (PG has gold stickers...yes I know...stickers)
Size factors with the anime so even certain/specific HG look much bigger than PG and MG.

first PG for me, and was fantastic
To start off, the feet of this guy have one part on the front tow armor that's a bit annoying to put in and the wings might get a tad bit repetitive with all the parts, but overall a wonderful build. My favorite part would have to be the hands, where you build them on the runner before clipping out the entire hand. Post build, the kit may have some balancing issues since it's got giant heavy wing,s and for me they didn't feel like they could spread out wide enough but that's hopefully just a pet peeve. Shelf presence, for every PG is massive and it's got decent posing. A good kit to build though there may be better PGs to start out with.

A beautiful center piece
This kit is beautiful when finished and the build process was pretty straightforward. The wing span is two feet! The included stand is sturdy. The eyes have no stickers covering them and the included yellow LED shines through beautifully. Only problem was attaching the super dragoons but that was a skill issue on my end. The spring loaded gimmick for the super dragoons is awesome just sensitive if you want them to stay in the stored position. I was expecting greatness and I was not disappointed. I wholeheartedly recommend this kit.
