Who new a kit from 2008 could be this good?

I didn’t come into this build with high expectations because of the polycaps and the other reviews here, but after having built it, it made me like this MS more. I’ve only had two minor issues so far: the color separation isn’t great, which can be easily fixed with paint, and the funnels in general. The closed funnels (the ones you put in the backpack) are molded together but super easy to separate. There’s also no official effects for the open funnels, but it’s fairly simple to make them yourself. Just cut up the clear part of runner A and heat those bits up with a hairdryer to bend them and you’re good. Maybe not be a great beginner kit solely because of those issues, but I still highly recommend the HGUC Sazabi to builders of any skill level. Seriously: get this kit!

    OK

The legs don't really hold the kit in poses and the articulation isn't great. The kit overall is fine if you take all things into account.

    Everything is fine but POLYCAPS

This kit uses POLYCAPS(soft plastic joints) in everything. It is good, but the problem is that they are too weak. You might tear them during assembly, because it slightly doesn't fit into some joints. Everything is good except the polycaps. It is truly a fine kit.

A solid kit, but some minor flaws

As one of my FAVORITE MS'es ever, I had to get and build this kit. And, for the most part, it was extremely fun to assemble. It also stands above most 1/144 models, and if you dislike putting stickers on, good news, there's only three! There are a few problems afterwards I had with it - but these weren't enough to detract it. The shield makes the kit much harder to balance, and the arms don't seem to be in all the way. The eye sticker is extremely small and it blends in well with the helmet, but, overall, I still love this chunky lad. I wish it had an accessory to deploy the funnels for posing.

might as well glue everything down

a few times i had trouble with the build, its not the most articulated kit out there, but the looks carry this kit. however. since there is so much gunpla, the poly caps for the legs , and the ball joint for the waist, wont hold a pose. not to mention it falls apart so easily. I could not get the Sazabi to do any other pose than standing straight without poses coming undone or completely falling apart. This picture is of me accidentally dropping the kit on carpet, but the thing pretty much exploded anyways. get it as display only
