I got this kit expecting a par-for-the-course MG. In the end, I got something it’s genuinely hard to find any issues with (Cartaaaaaa!!!). The plastic is buttery as can be, the panel lines are the immaculate stuff of fully scribed customs straight out of box, you get about everything you’d want, need, and more. I was contemplating buying a second one just to display the Lupus next to its inner frame in the same pose, which I might actually do now. No matter if you’re a beginner or a veteran, if you’re a child or a senior citizen, whoever you are, if you find this kit, buy it and build it and I promise you will never regret it. It’s great!

From what I’ve seen so far, the HG Char’s Counterattack kits are great for their age. This kit doesn’t change my opinion, and I’d say it’s the best of the ones that I’ve built. However, there are a few issues. First, it feels like it needs more hands. All we get are an open hand for the left, a pair of closed fists, and a trigger finger and general holding hand for the RIGHT ONLY. This is the only thing that bugs me about this kit, as there is no way for it to hold multiple weapons at the same time, and it comes with two beam sabers which it can’t hold in conjunction. Still, it’s great, and I highly recommend it as long as you have a few kits under your belt.

This kit is, so far, the only RG in my collection, and I must say, though some of my HGs are more detailed, it still looks stunning even without panel lining or decals at all. However, it’s a hand grenade. The second I touched the second frame parts runner, three pieces snapped instantly. This is very much a kit you get, if at all, pose, and then never touch again.

The Hguc Blue Destiny unit 1 is nothing remarkable. It looks good with the two tones of blue and the eye stickers on the game head showing through, but it’s basically just your standard HG. Buy it if you like the design and/or just need something to do for an afternoon.

I didn’t come into this build with high expectations because of the polycaps and the other reviews here, but after having built it, it made me like this MS more. I’ve only had two minor issues so far: the color separation isn’t great, which can be easily fixed with paint, and the funnels in general. The closed funnels (the ones you put in the backpack) are molded together but super easy to separate. There’s also no official effects for the open funnels, but it’s fairly simple to make them yourself. Just cut up the clear part of runner A and heat those bits up with a hairdryer to bend them and you’re good. Maybe not be a great beginner kit solely because of those issues, but I still highly recommend the HGUC Sazabi to builders of any skill level. Seriously: get this kit!

Don’t get me wrong, the MG 3.0 is an amazing kit, and I totally recommend it, but it’s just not perfect. The head, body, core fighter, and feet build fine, but the arms, legs, and especially the hands are really not that good. The arm joints are a nightmare to build. One bit on the legs gets too much pressure put on it when it’s attached parallel to the foot. And the fingers are so bad I had to museum putty them in and they still pop out regularly. Overall, highly recommend, just know there’s some issues.
