This was a pretty straight forward build that provided a lot of fun. I'm still new to the hobby and this kit allowed me to play around with some panel lining in a beginner friendly way. It isn't very posable but it looks so distinct compared to other kits. A great way to spend a couple nights.

This kit was designed back in 2000, and it shows. It's a very simple, quick build. Not a lot of complexity or detail. Hardly any articulation. It's a fun way to spend a couple hours but there's no challenge at all. Still - it looks pretty good up on the shelf!

Absolutely fantastic kit from start to finish, I don't think I've ever had more fun building a kit. The appearance is absolutely classic and faithful to its look in the anime, and the build is shockingly good, even though it came out 24 years ago and the bags are pretty stinky. But seriously, don't skip out on this one just for its age, if you're looking for a kit that can switch it up after a while but still want to remain loyal to the Federation, this is absolutely the kit for you. Be advised, the wheels don't move (Heartbreaking, I know.) and the waist is connected to the lower half via one big peg and two smaller pegs, the smaller pegs can easily snap off if you're not especially careful. However, in the case that one of them DOES snap off, its not that big of a deal since they don't provide much support in the first place. Just a disclaimer. Fun kit.
