Does the shield collapse like on the RG?
Answer
It does not.

Well it doesn't collapse, but you can disconnect the black part of the shield and attach it to the red piece.

Where it all started...
My first model kit! I really enjoy every moment putting it together. It inspired me to collect and build many of the models kit I have today. Perfect for beginners.

HG perfection
This is definitely one of my favorite high grades in my collection. It’s just such an all-round good kit. It had the stunning looks of the Mk2, paired with rock solid stability and joints, and some pretty decent articulation to top it off. My waist joint did come a bit loose though but it was nothing that coating the ball joint with some glue didn’t fix. If you use that technique to tighten joints please let the glue dry all the way on the ball joint before you reconnect it. Anyway, this kit belongs in every collection!

Fun simple build
Was a really fun and simple build. Nice amount of detail for a HG. My only complaint was that the ball joint at the mid section was really loose for mine. This meant that if I held it anywhere above the waist, the legs would fall off.

Very easy to build, and looks nice. Maybe not as cool as the TITANS version, but if you care about fractions....

You get what you pay for
Great kit overall! with this being said as the heading says, you get what you pay for. We all know the level of detail a HG has over a RG 1/144 scale kit. Nonetheless if you like to customize your gunpla and add water decals you will get an awesome looking HG!
