The build alone is really fun, but then you get to the hands, I’m not sure if I maybe nipped them out wrong or something, but they seriously struggle to hold any weapons, so word of advice, once you have it in a good pose, just keep it like that. Other than that, it’s my favorite mg rendition of the Rx-78, its so clean and slick looking, with a beautiful anime accurate boxy physique!

This is probably the best MG RX-78 because nothing feels super finicky and it has amazing articulation, looks amazing just out of the box with nothing done to it, and the accessories are really good. My only minor gripe would be the hands, my advice is just to be super careful when trying to pose them. 100% recommend.

This is a fantastic kit. Lots of great accessories and weapons. Terrific articulation and poseability.

Good kit, online the design choices, and despite what people are saying, the hands are fine. One negative is the yellow scope on both rifles as I couldn't get the clear protector to fit properly on the smaller rifle.

This is a great value kit. The pros are that it: isn't very expensive, has great proportions and poseability, is a perfect recreation of that Yasuhiko face RX-78, has a beautiful shade of slightly tanned white for the main color (and tasteful hues on the other colors as well), has a slot for an LED unit, has plenty of option parts, and despite all that is fairly simple to build. The cons are that it: is an Origin RX-78 - which means it has that wonky knee joint, and it only has those fully poseable hands (which aren't... THAT bad, but still a bit annoying). I'd give it a 4.5 star if I could!
