Workhorse tool
This file works perfectly for 75% of my cleanup needs and is the lowest effort tool for a great result. I particularly like it when I'm building with friends and family because it just works. I'm going to buy a second one just for better co-op building when it comes back in stock.

Incredibly quick, smooth finishes
This file absolutely devours plastic bumps like gate marks, and does a very good job leaving a mirror shine that can be easily roughened with your choice of fine grit sandpaper. Works quite well on transparent plastics as a result. It does clog up with plastic in the ridges relatively quickly but even a swipe with a finger cleans it out much better than even scraping out an iron file with fingernails or most scraping implements does, with no risk of cutting the finger skin. It's a simple trick but it's shockingly effective.

Very good
Would recommend for all, it works wonderfully, but it clogs very fast so make sure you have a tool to unclog it. Great tool!!

Beginner's best friend
On my first build I used this alongside several different sanding sticks. And after experimentation- I've already decided this was the most helpful item in my kit. it gets the nubs down until only a vague rectangle is left- if not entirely gone. usually I go until theres no white marks or bumps- as it REALLY polishes the surface up; which did stand out on my first build. Regardless though- it's a cheap and reliable tool.
and get a roll of masking tape. The file gets clogged REALLY quick. HOWEVER, a good strip of masking tape slapped onto it will remove most if not all of the dust.
