Plenty of weapons and very customizable, great kit for beginners. If you are new to the MG line and aren`t too sure about spending $50 + on a kit , this is the one for you.

The early MGs were bulky, still relied on Phillips head joints, and had some seamlines that may prove difficult for newer builders --but it's also complete with option parts (hoist books and field improvised venting) that cater to more than the OOB / straight build types. The manual gives good detail and reference to how the units worked to help better understand how weathering and chipping would occur in a more realistic sense. It also gives small important snippets on unit specific lore and paint schemes beyond making the box version.

This shares an older kit with the ground gundam from the same series and the ez-8. Therefore it has all of the same problems. The upper arm has a sliding friction joint that tends to come loose. The hands aren't tight and don't hold the weapons well. It's clunky and flat at points. All that in hand, Older kits also tend to be simpler kits and I tend to think these are good kits for those getting started. They do well by paint and they're even good kits to try some light scribing to add panel lines. Older and GM kits can really shine with a bit of customization and this is one of those.

I really liked putting this one together. Honestly, get two so one can handle the launcher, and one for the rifle/larger rifle.

Not only are the colors great and vibrant but it comes with a couple of great weapons. Its an older kit but still a great build.
