Question
When will this bad boy get restocked and when was the last time it was restocked? I’m going on three months into this hobby and This is one. I really look forward to.
Answer
Add it to your wishlist to be notified when it comes back. Print runs can be a few months or a few years in between. Depends on Bandai.

Question
Does the storage unit on the back impact the balance of the kit at all?
Answer
Yes. It is slightly back-heavy with the container fully loaded.

one of my favorite mgs

great kit, loved building it. honestly looks great out of the box with some panel lining if you aren’t using the beam rifle (molded ENTIRELY IN GREY AAAA) if you do seam line removal and paint it looks PHENOMENAL though, proportioning on the head is one of my only real issues with the kit its got the dreaded trigger finger split hands that they told stories about around the campfire, BUT!!! it comes with some closed fists and splayed hands thank god its got screws in the arm joints and meh articulation but come onnnn its an old mg accessories don’t really have any issues other than the beam rifle being the wrong color (if you’re using the backpack gun holder thing and youre keeping it closed id recommend just taking the gun out, keeps the kit stable) comes with the sort of hard line vent things you saw in the mg zaku and gundam 1.0s very good kit, would recommend!

08th? Oh yeah.

This kit shows it's age pretty badly. Not in the final appearance, but in the design of the joints, hands, and such. I like kit overall and it was actually my first MG kit back in the day when it first came out, and I am glad to have rediscovered it here. The cannon it comes with is pretty cool and the compatibility with parts from the G GM makes it pretty fun.

the literal perfect entry to Master Grade

This is a simple, uncomplicated kit that will ease you into the process and intricacies of the Master Grade as a whole. The only part that even approaches being complex is the admittedly annoying tightening of the screws that hold the shoulders together, which can be agonising depending on the tolerances of your particular kit, and once that's done it's smooth sailing until you finish - and then it's a clean, perfect representation of the Ground Type. Even 23 years on from its release, this kit shines brighter than some modern offerings by putting clean, uncomplicated engineering and substance over flash and style. Maybe it's not as articulated as a modern MG. Maybe it's a bit lower on parts count and lacks an inner frame. But there's something that will always bring me back to this one, something that none of the modern kits have really shown me - pure, unadulterated charm.

Good MG for beginners

Upon opening the box, I was treated to the standard build with some screws to tighten the arms. The older plastic makes it a bit rough to clean up nub marks, but it is possible. When the build is finished, you are treated to the average articulation in the legs and arms with no real movement in the head or waist. However, with time the joints will come really loose. One thing I will warn buyers is the lack of pegs in the hands. It really makes it hard for the Gundam to hold the weapons. The stickers are high quality and are surprisingly readable along with the dry transfer decals which are tricky but attainable to put on. The kit does come with extra parts for even higher levels of customization. All good things, and a solid second or third MG
