New Favorite
This was an absolute joy to build. It was very simple compared to the RX-78 3.0 I had built before it, but that is not a complaint at all. It is so, so solid. Every time I built a new section I was blown away by how secure every point of articulation is. I bought this kit to practice some modifying on, but after I was halfway through, I couldn't bring myself to practice on it! I put it on an action base and it poses up a storm. I didn't love the design initially but after I built it, it has a sweet spot in my heart. Definitely recommend this one. An experienced builder could build this one very fast, by the way. Even with my obsessive nub cleanup I was done in 2 or 3 sessions.

Top tier MG
Personally I think this is a top tier MG kit: it just doesn't have notable weakness. Notably it uses no polycaps, which is a strength in my opinion. I wish there could be more MG Jegan variants created out of this mold (e.g., Stark Jegan), though its quite likely these variants end up being P-Bandai exclusives (Bandai is becoming eviler).
