Does this kit include the funnels?
Answer
Sadly, the kit only includes the shield and beam rifle. You do not get beam sabers or funnels. The instructions "encourage" you to use the funnels from the HG kit.

Do the beam sabers come with beams, if not are they compatible with standard hg beams?
Answer
There is only one usable beam saber handle in the kit (the double-ended one on the backpack) and it does not fit standard beams.

The New High Grade
After all this time since the High Grade Nu Gundam, even the slightest upgrades in development go a long way. The core articulation is great, the body is moveable and more flexible overall, including the head. How did this end up being better than the High Grade? The only lacking element is that it simply doesn't come with fin funnels, but will readily take the High Grade's with the same mechanism.

Surprisingly Detailed
Excellent beginner kit. My son and I built this as his first gunpla and had no trouble with it. There is a lot more detail than I was expecting and it went together very quickly. Better posability than a few of the HG kits we have and looks great! Can't wait to try a few more of these entry kits.

A great place to start, and a great canvas for modifications!
No funnels or beam saber blades, but the build is easy, there are tons of modification options, and it's a dead simple kit to repaint for beginners
