Is this compatible with the HG Aile strike's backpack?

It is. I used a HG IWSP backpack on this kit and it fits perfectly.

September 21, 2022Yes. not just the back pack but the shoulder equipment for sword and launcher pack too but you might need to tighten the waist ball joint if you will mount iwsp, star build, full package, or the regular aile pack as it will bend slightly backwards due to the backpack's weight. (NG for HG perfect strike pack without action base)

unexpectedly good
It's a very quick and easy build, but unexpectedly good. Great color separation and accuracy without any stickers. Good articulation. Poses well and looks fantastic.

This was my first gundam model kit (except for one like 20 years ago). Needless to say I've spent lots of money and time on gunpla since then. This guy is highly articulated and fits very well with other HG kits. Also great for practice modification. Nothing to complain about here.
