Char's Zaku II
I think with the price gone down, it is a fun kit to build, but it is "25 year old style" so it is way different than the PGU (of course). Bandai has come a long way. The LED was fun to wire and mine is blindingly powerful. In the end I would still give this 4+5 because it is a classic and a somewhat challenging build and as always the finished product is great posed.

An oldie, but a goodie!
Despite being old, it articulates, plays, and looks great! However the plastic is pretty hard to clean and is relatively brittle, the LED is difficult to wire up and is prone to issues, and the heat hawk blade needs to be painted up. Despite this, the kit really hits that classic look and was a blast to put together. If you're looking for a PG on a budget, I highly recommend this one.
