This kit is awesome but my copy came out wrong

The model is probably one of the best out there, the build was really fun and appealing decals was really rewarding. All in all it was a good build and I had no issues building it I did hear that you could snap the arms or waist joint if you put it on wrong but just push the pieces in instead of twist and push. My copy however seems to have a major issue in that the head doesn’t connect to anything. I must have looked back at the manual at least 6 or 7 times trying to reassemble the head and looking around to see if I forgot anything on the head itself or the neck joint. Right now I have a small about of putty to help keep it attached but I might glue it since the neck joint from the torso can move in almost every direction needed. To end of the kit is amazing I definitely recommend it, hopefully yours doesn’t have the same problem as mine

If you're a fan of Sazabi this guy is a must

I had heard a lot of people cautioning about the shoulder joints in this kit so I'll start my review there, the biggest tip I can give you to make your life easier is to take some petroleum jelly and dip your finger tip into it just until your finger is shiny and then rub the peg on the shoulder joint that attaches into the chest. If you don't do this you're probably going to have a bad time since the shoulder peg and the hole it goes into have a very tight connection and if you force it or don't push it in ALL THE WAY you run the risk of breaking the shoulder peg, you could sand it a little but why go through the effort of getting it just right when you can use a little bit of lubricant and slide it in with minimal effort ! Some little nitpicks I had were the lower leg armor. The lower leg armor (Sazabi's bell bottoms) slide into grooves on the calves and my issue was I'd get tab 1 and 2 in but 3 wouldn't want to go, or 1 and 3 in but 2 didn't want to cooperate etc. It's probably just a me being dumb moment tbh but it's worth noting, the other thing I think people might have some issue with will be the clear piece that makes up the mono eye. This little sucker is well.. small and you have to put it in a certain way and if you've built before you know that's a helluva combo, it's nothing too serious but I thought I'd give people a heads up. As for positives there's pretty much no end to them ! It looks great, it poses great, it has arm and wrist extension gimmicks to help with getting poses just right, it's a solid build. Oh and it has the heat dissipation gimmicks from the Sazabi Ver Ka (I think that's what they called it) basically bits of armor open up or slide apart to show detail underneath and if you want that to pop you'll want to paint or use some markers on it as you're putting it together. (Don't forget like I did) The TLDR: use a little Vaseline on the shoulder peg when putting it into the chest hole. This kit looks kill, its posability is great for such a chunky boi, if you're a Sazabi fan get it ! Happy building and seig (Neo) Zeon !

    Chunky shelf presence

Overall, an awesome kit. Great build experience, highly detailed across the board. The more effort you put in (paint, panel line, decals) the better it gets. Its got an awesome shelf presence and stands out. My only qualm is that with how chunky it is, posing is hard. You really do need an action base to pose this guy properly. The size of the limbs does get in the way of more complex poses but overally, its not hard to make it look good on display.
