I bought a HG z'gok for my son since it looked like a simple build and was cheap. I had always thought these suits looked stupendously impractical until my son's build and I sort of took a shine to this MS model. So I bought an RG and prepared for finnicky somewhat frustrating building. Other than the arm and leg cuffs the build itself was not too bad. Everything shows on this kit so pretty much all nubs have to be dealt with or addressed. So the fit and finish of this build is incredible and if you really like this kit and it's one of your favorites go on ahead and get those water slides after market. I just used the provided stickers to my liking and thought it looked great. The look and finish of this kit pull the score hard, but the 4.0/5.0 is due to the fact that you have maybe a couple of poses you can do with this. Both the arms and the legs don't move well, but the arms really can't get to a 90 degree bend and honestly it felt kind of "stiff". If you just want to try a z'gok and want to keep it simple just grab one of the high grades. If you like the kit enough then, yeah, definitely say this is worth a good time.

This is lot better than the HG version. Nothing on the RG broke when I assembled the Z'Gok and the articulation is great, but the armor can pop off from doing it. This RG uses pre-molded inner frame it will get loose over time, so use Gun primer Joint Guard or super glue pegs. You can make either the 3 or 4 claw as an option. It's a fast build for a gunpla because it doesn't have accessories Use paint markers if you have them.

I really love odd suit designs and when this came in stock I had to have it ever since I had been made aware of its existence. Now that I have one I can confirm it’s a very fun build but not for first timers. There’s plenty of tricky steps with regards to the beautifully separated arm joints and inner frame. The different shades of char red really make this pop, tons of decals, but like a good RG it should look so good you don’t need to do anything to it OOB. This thing rules!
