Been a big fan of 0083 since childhood. This was my first RG, and overall, I love the kit. I get why people say the connection between the top and bottom halves is finicky, but it’s not a significant concern. If you’ve built older Gunpla, this kind of fix is nothing new. It’s an easy tweak: use a joint-tightening solution or add a small dab of model glue, let it dry, then reconnect the parts, and the connection will hold just fine.

This kit looks wise is great. It can hold a pose well, but what kills it is the whole chest. The Core Fighter gimmick is cool but it makes this kit flimsy. If you know how to mod kits then this shouldn't be a problem. If you want this kit just for shelf presence(just standing there) then it's fine.

This was my first RG kit and I loved it, but it’s not perfect. I’d say the biggest issue is with the core block system. While I love that it has a core fighter it does mean that the connection between the top and bottom half of the kit can be a bit finicky. That being said once the kit is built up and you find the right pose it’s going to look excellent especially if you do some panel lining and put it on an action base. I’m very happy with my finished product and with a little TLC and patience you will too.
