Great Introduction
My niece built this as her first kit and it left her wanting a regular Zaku II to go along with it, and then more kits after that!

Between EG & HG
The instruction manual is as big as an HG, but the parts are simpler. Two of the runners are in the shape of Hello Kitty's head and ribbon, which is good dedication to the gimmick. Doesn't use the tiny soft PCS of an HG - in fact, in general, most of the parts are larger.

Good and Cute Build
It's an overall good kit as it is relatively simple to build. You can still make the standard SDCS Zaku from this and have the Hello Kitty next to it, but it definitely looks cute and cool when combined. It's also a good project to work on and complete when gifting Gunpla/Gundam to someone that's not a Gundam fan.
