This kit comes together pretty quickly to be a pretty spot on replication of the ez-8 jumping right out of the anime into real life. The only reason this is only getting 4/5 from me is that the joints especially at the wrists were incredibly week. This one begs a matte top coat to take the sheen off the plastic. Additionally, there's a poverty of panel lines to really make it pop. The MG is an older design but one I feel still is solid and usually priced a little above 40 bucks. I recommend both. If you want the suit to look a little less polished and plastic-y it will require some adjustment and I dare say could use some judicious oversanding to produce wear and tear as it comes together pristine.

So in the kit you get the EZ-8, the parachute backpack, heavy shield, machine gun, beam rifle and two be sabers. The build uses polycaps and uses stickers for details and color correction to a degree. Build has been alright but does require paint to look 100 accurate. Mainly with the red in the thrusters, the antenna on the head, the markings on the backpack and thighs and the bottom of the feet. So far I've only had a slight problem with the wrists being a bit loose and underwhelming neck and torso articulation.

Ankle covering joint is loose. Otherwise it builds much like other HG gundams & GMs, except also with the big detachable backpack.
