It's 1-cent USD for each toothpick basically. Toothpicks coated with compressed cotton are surprisingly useful. For example, I am building my EG RX-78-2, and I used cement to remove the seam between the kneecap-protectors and the shin. Some of the angles are about 90 degrees, and so it'd be hard to sand the globs of deformed plastic that are squeezed out when I pressed the parts together. One toothpick cleaned it up nicely. Specifically, the cotton made it so the tip deformed enough to touch both sides of the corner when a purely wooden toothpick would not have. I mean, this is a bit of a luxury since I could have used a napkin with a regular toothpick, but also, precision is nice and this hobby is all about spending money for a smooth process anyway.
