I was expecting a lot, but I was left wanting. It's huge, yeah, it's mostly an ok build, but it has some oddities that I didn't really like. Lots of small gross yellow colored thrusters. The gun arm is pretty loose, and the red Zaku is..."ok". If you want to paint and color all the grey weapons and such, then this is absolutely the kit for you. Get the G rework or Delpi decals and go ham.

Let me be fair with this kit and open with my praises- It comes with a ton of accessories, a ton of shelf presence, and is perhaps one of the coolest-looking Zaku kits ever released. That said, it is NOT a flawless kit, and has its own share of issues that hold it back a bit. Firstly, the kit is an archetypical hand grenade, though the inner frame itself is solid- nudging, posing and moving it around results in verniers popping off of the backpack and the red parts of the skirt armor falling off. Secondly, the monopose hands are not great, and struggle holding on to the beam bazooka, which is rather difficult to get into a good pose with as even pointing downwards it enjoys leaning forward awkwardly. Most of these problems are superficial, though, and can be remedied. Just know what you're getting into.

don’t take this or any of the other reviews with a grain of salt, this big bad zaku can easily take up a large amount of real estate on your shelves. the zaku itself is about average size for a mg but factor in the absurdly large boosters and its almost 2 feet in length; so before you invest in this make sure you have a designated spot for this behemoth. as for the zaku itself it’s pretty good. build is pretty fun and it has plenty of detail but putting the bags on the joints & pipes can be a tad bit frustrating, still less frustrating than the full armor ver.ka. plus it comes with an entire arsenal of weaponry to choose from. only downsides to this kit would be its lack of customizable hands and a slightly below average range of articulation. but neither of those things really matter in the bigger picture because once attacked to the booster and included stand its a very long statue. overall: 7.8/10
