Free Jazz is underrated

When I saw this in a local hobby shop I had to pick it up. It was as much of a delight to build as the Thunderbolt OVA was to watch. It's a really great centerpiece for a Universal Century display and demands not only space, but also your attention. The decals are a MUST for this thing. They add a lot of detail and attitude to the suit. The articulation is better than what I was expecting from this kit, and the nylon sleeves that you put on the joints are so amazing.

An absolute brick.

This kit is an absolute unit, if you want something to look badass and be the center piece of your collection, this is it. However that does not come without flaws. This kit uses plastic covers for its joints and that plastic is quite literally the same quality as a trash bag. It can be a pain to install the plastic covers correctly and I had to cut out some of the plastic on the shoulders to make the arms fit into the torso. This kit also weighs quite a bit so if you want to actually pose this use a proper action base and not the one that is included. I used action base 1 and that worked perfectly for this kit. This kit also comes with water stickers, and if you are like me and love the extra detail, putting all of them on will take forever... It took me around 8 hours to put on all stickers. You also definitely want some Mr Mark setter incase a sticker falls off or doesn't stick properly. In conclusion, this kit is perfect for those who love the thunderbolt design and are willing to spend many fun and frustrating hours assembling this beast of a kit.

Many flaws, but still enjoybable

What you get is a beautiful 1/100 Full Armor Gundam, but there's not really much you can do with it after applying the finishing touches. There were a couple problems i had but i might be too nitpicky about it. First of all, the vinyl coverings. Getting them onto the arms & legs weren't a problem, it was just trying to get the parts that hold it in place that irritated me a bit. On that note, with these coverings on, it makes me scared to even try to pose this thing without the fear of tearing the vinyl out of place. Second, the shield clips on the backpack. Trying to even connect the shields without the handle sliding upwards took way longer than it should've and feels loose. One other thing, i donxt know if anybody else had this issue but getting the legs attached to the waist felt way harder than it should've for me. Other than that, the finished model will be a stand-out kit among anything else.

A brick, but a beautiful brick

If you're a Thunderbolt nut this is a must have MG. Looks great posed up with all 4 shields and missile hatches opened up. I only wish the Psycho Zaku was reprinted as often as this kit is :'(

Quite the hefty kit!

My only few complaints are the dedicated stand and the vinyl wrapping. The stand included with the kit an barely hold up the kit when its on its highest, it literally bends. Another thing is how basic the stand is, just my preference. Nothing wrong with the general build, but the vinyl wrapping included is a neat gimmick though the process of building with it can get quite annoying. Also the shield clamps for the back unit are pretty loose, but it could just be mine unfortunately.
