Marking the 20th anniversary of the "Master Grade Ver.Ka" series is the incredible MG Zeta Gundam Ver.Ka from "Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam"!
The proportions of the Gunpla are based on Kazumi Fujita's sketches of the Gundam for the anime. The structure and shape have been refined to ensure that there is no breakdown in the form between both the MS form and the Waverider form, and the transformation mechanism has been expertly constructed.
The MS form has a wide range of motion, allowing for a greater degree of recreation of poses from the show! The Waverider form can be displayed in a stable manner, like a fixed aircraft model, by providing a locking mechanism for each part.
The MG Zeta Gundam also features parts with metallic extra finish processing, along with water transfer decals designed by Katoki Hajime!

The kit is compatible with AB 1, 4, and 5. AB 1 is probably the strongest support of the bunch. AB 4 is also an option. AB 5 might not be good due to the small ground contact area creating a high center of gravity (read: fall risk).

Almost Perfect
This kit is awesome in almost every regard. People have already given this kit its praises, so I'm just going to discuss the peeves I have with this kit. Firstly, some places could use better articulation, namely the feet/toes. Secondly, the decals included in this kit are pretty frustrating. I have used 3rd party waterslides in the past, so I assumed Bandai's would be just as good if not better. Unfortunately, I was wrong. The decals have such bad adhesion, I would finish one decal, move on to another only to find the previous decal stuck to my fingertip when I barely touched it. Lastly, this kit really could have used undergating, mostly on the red and blue.

The hype is real !
I know people like to go a bit overboard with hyping up new kits on YouTube, Reddit, and so on but this bad boy is worth the hype. It's my second Master Grade and I absolutely loved it ! A straightforward build, a solid end product, it looks great and it poses excellently.. what more could you ask for ? If you love Zeta Gundam you should definitely grab yourself one of these.

A real improvement
It seems everyone is concerned about how good this new version is compared to the 2.0 version. IMO, Ver. Ka is better than Ver. 2.0 in almost every way (even though Ver. 2.0 is by no means a bad kit): more color accurate (except grenades, which isn't colored in Ver. 2.0 either), less flimsy joints, better mold quality and thus better building experience (ABS frame parts from old days sometimes don't fit together that well)... What made people disappointed is the lack of Hyper Mega Launcher (might be a P-Bandai exclusive accessory kit I guess) and display base (but you can use generic Action Bases anyway), but to me quality of the MS itself is more important than having all the accessories.
