There are all the same problems with the GP01, it's the same kit with extras, but it looks actually kind of cool on the shelf. My principle gripe with this guy is the feet. You basically put clown shoes on the original and, for me at least, this created balance problems. Before anyone says anything; yes, it still had balance problems with the extra thrusters removed. Normally I sing all praises for MG but this kit has issues. I still recommend it! Don't get me wrong. I like having it overall. Just be aware.

My least favorite MG build and possibly my least favorite in general, there's way better kits available I would honestly just spend your money on a better MG.

I'm a older builder and this kit has been in my pile of kits to do a since 1997. As the other reviews have stated this is not a bad build but in need of a ver2.0. It is not a nightmare of a kit like the RX-79 that was desperately in need and well over do for redesign. I hope with the revision, Bandi would also redesign the sholders and correct the legs to match the anime. When and if Bandi releases ver2 (I hope soon) I will not wait to get it on my bench. Those new to Gundam give this kit a try. It is still a good build and was satisfying when done
