Based on Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory, the Gundam "Physalis" model kit is in 1/100 scale and becomes a fully articulated figure once complete. The "atomic bazooka" can be mounted in the hand in firing position, or it breaks down into two pieces, the barrel mounting in the inside of the shield, with the remainder mounting on the GP02's back.

Nuclear Annihilation!
I love this kit! There are posing issues galore! From the giant shield, the bazooka, the huge feet, the massive shoulders, there are problems. BUT who doesn't like this guy and what he represents? 0083 is my favorite Gundam OVA and this was one of my favorite mechs from the whole series.

Pretty good for it's age
I knew I needed this kit the second I saw the design in Stardust Memory, I also already knew that this was one of the earliest master grades and knew there would be limitations. I am still pretty new to building kits and it was not very difficult and still enjoyable. I was surprised at how well the kit holds up for being a 1998 kit. The only downside, in my opinion, is the limited poses you can do and the shield is pretty much impossible for him to hold it is just way too heavy for his weak arms. So if you love chunky kits and know it won't quite be at the standard for modern MG's then definitely pick this boy up he still looks great on display.

Easily one of my favorite builds!
For being a 24 year old kit, this was one of the most fun builds I have done. I love everything about this from the details to the designs and even the sophisticated realistic schematics in the instructions. The only issues I had were one of the runners being warped and the shoulder thrusters being slightly too heavy to hold their weight. Overall, I'm very happy w this kit and would strongly recommend anyone to get one for their collection
