Can you make the prototype Hardy gun with this box or do you need to get another kit to do that

No. This is a re-work of the earlier-released Heavygun kit so there's shared parts with that kit only.

What are the shared parts between this kit and the heavy gun kit

Answer

Impressively, only the clear visor, beam rifles, and hands are copied over (on different runners). Everything else is a new tool but very similar to the Heavy Gun. The polycap connection for the feet, hips, and arms should be the same size so you can technically mix kits.
