This checks all the boxes: it holds the bit firmly and it rotates smoothly. I haven’t needed to use the different sized chucks that it comes with, but I know I have them if I need them. Is this worth the premium price tag? I can’t really say. But so far it’s been a good investment.

Needed a new pin vise, previous one was from a cheap set of starter tools from amazon. Didn't think it would be a huge difference but oh boy was I wrong. It operates so smoothly and seems to drill through so much faster. The holes are cleaner too. Love this tool!
