Are full mechanic kits basically just MG gunpla but with better detailing?
Answer
If anything it's the other way around. The IBO FM kits do have an internal frame, but they lack both a cockpit and the multi-colored details you'd see in the MG Barb. If you're familiar with the Re/100 line, this is basically a slightly nicer version. However, they're still great display pieces and have relatively good articulation. Bael is probably the best I've built, followed by Vidar.

It's a really simple build no problem with it, he's wings are a little heave, so you can't spread them out without a stand but other than that great

McGIllis did nothing wrong.
This kit is probably my favorite 1/100 ever, right next to MG barbatos. Thats what I love about IBO suits, they're so simple but so expressive. Like other IBO kits it's really awesome and easy to pose, I did find that the waist sheaths will fall off when posing.

The inner frame of the kit is a lot like the inner frame of the hg ibo kits which is a good thing it has good articulation and it look and feels great

it should cost more, thankfully it doesnt
of the six mg's i have, this is a very close second to my barbatos. Build and quality is great, the only issue i had were loose shoulder but i fixed that with scotch tape on the ball joint
