So this kit is very old and unfortunately the age does show. HOWEVER, I would still highly recommend this to someone who's getting into Gunpla, or wanting a good and easy on your wallet custom project. This is also a great kit to practice your cleanup techniques with as well. Again, keep in mind it's age, it's a whopping 20+ year design with poly caps and other dated features, it's still a very very cool Zaku. Now another plus side to this kit is what makes it unique. Not only is the head different(sporting heavy Vulcan cannons), but it comes with two very unique weapons. You get your standard Zaku Machine Gun and Bazooka, but what's different is the custom Royal Family Heat Hawk(Garma Zabi's to be exact), as well as the Magella Top Cannon(literally the cannon of a tank head repackaged as a MS weapon). So, whether you're just wanting a good starter, to bolster your Zeon ranks, practice your skills or making an all out custom, id strongly recommend this bad boy. SIEG ZEON!!

It's a pretty decent kit with the standard older zaku flaws, like a color inaccuracy on the mono-eye (which is pretty standard) and an all-grey heat-hawk. The heat hawk was kind of disappointing as the real thing is super ornate, but it doesn't really hinder the kit that much, it's still a decent kit worth picking up. If you like the unique color scheme it's a great kit for you.

an HG Zaku II in different colors with a different head, extra weapons include a custom heat hawk and a really cool Magellan top cannon for some Gundam sniping action
