Model Kit

Out of stock

Launched ahead of the latest work in the Gundam series, "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury," the Beguir-Beu plays an active role in the prequel to the main story!

This Mobile Suit comes with its trademark "Bayonets", portable weapons for use against mobile suits, which can be equipped on both arms. A pedestal for the Non-Kinetic Pod and a wire are included for display in the ejection state. The flight unit deployment mechanism of the backpack has been reproduced. The front and rear parts of the key claws on the tips of both legs are individually movable. Colorful finish just by assembling, due to the division of parts!

Beautiful kit but flawed

First of all the lavender of the kit itself doesn't match the box or the anime. But I really love the color. The clear parts really impressed me though the silver stickers are hard to see. But maybe that's just me or the lighting. The upper body has great articulation. But unfortunately those gauntlet things have to stay on all the time. The back of it's hands love to slide off if nothing compresses them when at an angle. Even with the gauntlets if you accidentally move it they pop off. The wings are cool but you'll have to paint/mark part of the inner wing black because the stickers it came with don't wrap around the seam. Probably it's biggest flaw are it's small chicken feet. It's top heavy body is at constant odds with the chicken feet. If you don't have it proped up on a stand the slightest vibration or a breeze if someone walks by easily topples it over. It's a shame because I love the insectoid/alien design and color scheme. If you really want this though I would recommend you get a Michaelis instead. Eventhough it's like a generic knight it has some of the DNA of the Beguir and can actually stand some of the time (though it still has super small feet).

Good Set With One Flaw

This is an almost perfect set, being very fun to build with an absolutely stunning appearance, along with being very poseable! Unfortunately, due to it's strange feet design, it struggles to stand on it's own. Now, I marked the RG Crossbone set as 1 star for not being able to stand on its own (along with other reasons), however unlike the RG Crossbone set, the Beguir-Beu comes with it's own stand! This stand is only meant to be used with the kinetic orbs, however with some creativity and the extra pieces provided, I was able to post Beguir-Beu in a Yoshikage Kira-esc pose with one of the Kinetic orbs mid-flight as well! Ultimately, I would highly recommend this set to anyone looking for something with a sleek design and awesome poseability!

It's pronounced Bugaboo

A very nice companion to the Lfrith that looks good on its own. It uses a little bit of color correction here and there (especially for the shiny pink bits) but it's mainly not too bad, However, they completely forgot about the non-kinetic pods, which are like a central part of the design, so you get stuck with completely purple pods and NO COLOR CORRECTION STICKERS (it'd be like an F91 HG with completely white VSBRs). Solution: keep it always facing forwards in an A-pose like a digital stock asset. I swear, this kit feels both 2023 and 2003 at the same time... at least it has a new action base for the pods lol. I've been complaining a lot, so let me reiterate that it's fine for the most part and still worth picking up, just know your OCD's cries of anguish are justified. Also I cannot stop reading its name as 'Bugaboo' after a YouTube comment I saw
