 Exemplar of older Gunpla!
I loved the build of the Gouf Custom! If I had one tiny grip. It would be the screws. But other than that it was a journey that took all of 5 hours. So much fun I might get the 2.0 sometime later next year maybe!

 Glorious!
Looks incredible when finished!! The sword is a little flimsy in the hand but that goes with most old MGs

 Old but GOOD
I actually mistakenly bought this kit thinking it was the 2.0 version but despite the original's age, I was pleasantly surprised with the build. Sure there are screws, polycaps-a-plenty, and the overall execution just isn't quite what it is with newer kits (I also have the Zaku II 2.0) but despite those facts I really enjoyed it.
The one obvious pitfall is the 50 round 'cable shrouds' that make up the tubing you see on the model. I tapered a piece of sprue that was roughly the same diameter as the inside dimension of the pieces and then chucked that into a variable speed cordless drill. I kept the speed low and I was able to get through them all in short order.
