Great for the price

I think for one a lot of people expect this to be outstanding because of the "Ver. Ka" title mark, and that's something one can't blame for. It is indeed great to look at, if treated as an actual model, it's sturdy, well-articulated, everything fits as well as they should. One thing I couldn't bother applying were the decals, they're just nothing special in my opinion. It's a shame that the weapons aren't able to be held that securely, but to me the transformation gives it their justice.

You get what you expect

Pros: You get a very solid kit despite its age. Its build shows its age but I don't list that as a con. It has very nice proportions and the only stickers are for the eyes and sensors. Comes with dry transfers. The V fin feels slightly softer than the normal amour plastics helped me prevent a V-fin snap during the transformation. Cons: Lots of little black parts to fill in with paint. Uses the old style master grade hands so it can barely hold onto its buster rifle (if at all). The other accessories are great tho. Doesn't come with the signature waterslides of a ver ka. kit. They want you to put a massive dry transfer over the rounded shield. Like, why? Mine turned out ok, but I think I just got lucky. Had to cut the longer parts off of the wing decals because they had to go over large edges, and I wasn't about to go though that mess. Overall 7/10. Can be a headache tho.

Its OK

Having built several Wing kits, this one was one of my least favorite. The age of the kit shows; the plastic feels weird, the colors seem a little much, and the overall build wasn't up to the usual Ver Ka standard in my opinion. Looks decent once done, but with so many Wing kits out there you'll probably be better off choosing another unless this one really speaks to you.

Highly recommended!

Pros: This model is really solid when compared to the newer EW models. The legs stay in tact, the wings attached very simply, and the end result looks awesome! I am not really a fan of lots of stickers, and I think it should not be a large deciding factor in a kit. Cons: The only cons I came across are *surprise* the hands. I have some custom MG hands on the way to make holding his rifle easier. All in all, I think it's pretty cool!

A great build, but hindered by the stickers

I really enjoyed building the model itself, the pieces fit together nicely and everything is sturdy and secure with the minor exception of the backs of the hands which seems common across most kits. That said, the stickers and decals for this kit are the worst ones I've encountered so far. A majority of the stickers are bigger than the spaces the kit directs you to place them, and while some can be cut down to fit, others straight up won't fit at all unless you place them differently than described in the booklet. The stickers also seem lower quality than many other kits, and either don't adhere as well as they could, or are have clearly visible outlines when placed despite pressing them firmly into position. There are a couple places where you are supposed to place a decal or sticker, but it cannot be oriented in a way that fits the entire thing, and then later are expected to place other stickers or decals in close proximity to that one, without any space to do so. Aside from that, there are some places where you're directed to apply decals to really sharp bends, and it's pretty difficult to apply them cleanly, I wasn't able to get any of the large wing decals applied without breaking them, but that may boil down to experience and ymmv. Not a bad model, but the stickers and decals were frustrating.
