This version of Sandrock by Hajime Katoki was designed in the style of the Gundam Wing OVA "Endless Waltz" (EW) and was created as part of the new Gundam Wing manga, "Glory of the Defeated," which uses the Endless Waltz design aesthetic for its mobile suits. Featuring the ability to do the "Cross Crusher," its beam submachine gun, and alternate red transparent blades to simulate the heat shotels, this Sandrock release is a must have for Gundam Wing fans.

Are any tools required for this kit other then nippers ?
Is this a completely snap on kit ?

Only nippers can be used to make and snap together this kit. We do advise checking out our sanding stick options for nub mark removals as well for a cleaner, completed build but they are not required.

Why isn't this blue like the true endless waltz version?
Answer
This version is Katoki's redesign of Sandrock from the beginning of the events of the TV series. When Sandrock is eventually refit for space use, that's when it would shift to Katoki's indigo-colored version that appeared in the OVA.

Does this kit have posable fingers?
Answer
These should have fixed-posed fingers like all other EW kits. The thumb is on a ball while the other four fingers can be swapped between fixed-pose pieces.

Does this kit- and, if anyone knows if the rest of the EW Gundam MGs do- come with waterslide decals? It just says "decal sheet."
Answer
This has a sheet of dry transfers and a sheet of sticker-style decals (basically just stickers). Waterslides are sold separately.

First Gundam kit
This is my first time using Newtype and first ever kit as to I'm now just getting into this hobby. I read/heard that I should've probably started out with an HG or RG but I didn't listen. No real reason as to why I chose this one except that he looked cool. The build was pretty easy and the hardest part was putting on all of the tiny decals. No issues with any pieces and everything was in good condition. I have the long red swords on his back with the shield on his arm but it's not back heavy like one might think by looking at it. This bad boy will now sit in my empty display cabinet until I can get him some company with my next MG.

My first mg.
This kit has a ton of sentimental value to me.
Im not going to explain too much but i did finish this kit after 12 hours. I cried for the second half of the build. We all lose someone we care about as all things people pass on. but don't let that stop you from doing what you love
Anyways its a really great kit it was good to keep my mind busy and im glad i did it when i did. Instead of the trophy case this is in my living room a standing memory.
