Fantastic model kit
Fantastic model kit, with a couple of caveats.
Pros: The build is super stable, all the joints are rock solid and the articulation is really good. Some of the pieces come pre-painted on the runner and are undergated, which is a really nice, premium touch. The overall quality of the kit is somewhere between a HG and a RG in my opinion.
Cons: The kit comes with a LOT of color-correcting stickers. All the color/detailing on the surfboard is from stickers that need to be applied, it is plain white plastic without them. The little vent cutouts will need to be painted if you want them to be color accurate. The boomerangs come in plain white plastic and need a sticker that wraps over the edge for color correction which didn't look good to me, so I painted the edges with a Royal Metallic Red gundam marker. Also, the wheels/tires do not look like the product pictures out of the box. Same with the thruster nozzles coming out of the wheels on the back of the torso. They are all the darker gray plastic straight off the runner, not silver and brown like in the pictures. The dark gray plastic is pretty bad in terms of showing stress marks from the nubs. I painted the hubs of the wheels to have some color separation, as well as the thruster nozzles.
