With a focus on replicating its complicated transformation in the chest, the V2 MG carries a careful balance between form and function fitting for the 35th anniversary of GunPla.

Not that bad

Honestly, same critiques of the rg zeta apply to this. just don't be too rough with it and you're golden.

An amazing looking brick.

It can barely move it's legs, or it's ankles. It can't move it's torso at all. No rotation or bend. The elbows will pop out of socket if you dare move them as an elbow is supposed to move. I'm pretty sure it's not really to scale properly. It looks too big compared to MS of similar size. It's fragile, and impossible to get in to a dynamic pose. But, it looks really nice just standing there on my shelf. The build is bizarre and complex, definitely a memorable construction process, and it's fun to see the perplexing engineering come together. Lots of Bandai models are so solid and well designed you can almost play with them like a toy (personally, I fiddle with my RG Nu Gundam more than the couple action figures I own, and it hasn't broken a bit or lost any tightness in the joints in a year or more) , and that sours some people's opinions on this. The V2 is the most model kit feeling gunpla model kit I've ever built. You build it, admire it, and don't touch it.
