The year is 2026. You’ve built a so many gunpla kits, your shelves are packed with chonky boys. But something is missing. It’s starting to look like a sausage fest. Your collection needs some feminine energy. So you pick up one of those “mecha musume” kits featuring cute female characters. She looks great on the box art. But then you build her. She’s tiny. Not just that, her proportions are silly. Her head is too big for her body. Her arms are fragile, and can’t hold her huge weapons without breaking off at the wrist or elbow. And painting her? Forget about it. the parts are just too small. Once you put together just one of her limbs, you’ll start to second guess your purchase. Enter Starflower Lily. This astonishingly beautiful kit has none of these problems. First of all, at roughly 8.5 inches, she’s taller than most Master Grade kits. Her proportions are heroic, long and graceful. Her joints are extremely well designed. Even with metallic paint applied, she maintains her full range of motion. The kit comes with an incredible array of build options. Her body, her rifle, her lance, and shield, all have multiple “psychoframe” colors to choose from. I chose clear orange to match her flaming head, but there’s also clear blue and a lovely shade of gold. Her head has three options, each of which is magnetized at the neck for quick-swapping between them. Her main weapon can be converted into a skirt. Her chest has “flesh” or “robot” parts to choose from, and while this part is not magnetic, it’s rather easy to switch out. Her hand options are numerous and very well designed. The ones that grasp her weapons are integrated into the weapon handles, which is a brilliant choice for practical posing reasons, especially considering how huge the weapons are. Finally, this kit comes with some really nice waterslide decals, and the display stand is the best you will find anywhere. I cannot recommend this kit enough. It is the best female robot model kit ever designed, and nothing else comes close.

She is beautiful with quite a bit of customization, and a really nice base. Highly recommend.
