With years of experience gained manufacturing an internationally renowned line-up of exceptional quality plastic nippers, GodHand engineers collated, examined and acted upon feedback from existing users. The GH-PN-120 Blade One Nipper is the result...

With precise adjustments to the nipper blade angle, at all levels of the manufacturing process, right down to the very steel the Blade One Nipper is constructed from - GodHand have maintained almost all of the cleanliness of cut provided by their renowned Ultimate single edged nippers, while providing a tool that is far more rugged overall.

Suiting beginner modelers, or newcomers to single edged nippers and those simply looking for a quality, sheer cut of thicker PS resin than other similar products can provide, the GodHand GH-PN-120 Blade One represents a true evolution in plastic nipper design and operation. Suitable for plastics only, these nippers can be used on PS, PP, ABS and PE resins to 3mm, with transparent/translucent PS resin being limited a maximum of 2mm.

Due to the sharpness of the GH-PN-120 cutting blade, you can obtain a smooth surface with little plastic whitening or gouging and with a minimum of scraping, sanding and polishing. This greatly improves kit construction efficiency, allowing you to speed through assembly steps without those often frustrating hours of sprue gate removal and clean up. The neat cut provided by the GH-PN-120 Blade One Nipper is also perfect for those whom do not wish to paint their model, a feature highly desirable to snap-fit model builders in particular.

Questions

Question
What's the difference between these and the Ultimate ones?
Answer
The blades on this are thicker than the SPN-120 and can handle slightly larger gates/harder materials but may produce stress marks more readily.

Really good introduction to

This was the first set of nippers I got after realizing how much damage my old army painter nippers were doing to kits. I didn't want to go all the way to the $60 Godhands but I figured this would be a good substitute. Straight out of the box it was a night and day difference. There was a minor gap between the blades I had to adjust out with a small allen key and wrench. If your set is like this, take your time with the adustments and make sure you don't smash the blade against the flat side and dull the edge. While I've only used it on a few kits so far it took a bit of time to learn how to use them effectively. I tend to make my first set of cuts on the gates close to the runner and do an additional clean up cut or two closer to the part before sanding flush, and with how some parts are gated I didn't need to any sanding at all. Just make sure to follow the recommendations for use, on your final cut make sure the blade side is flush with the surface and slowly cut and trust the blade side's sharpness.

Great Nippers

I've used them for 9 Gundam kits, a couple were RGs but mostly HG. And countless Warhammer kits and quite a few resin models. Couldn't be happier with how they've held up. For the price, love em. Accidently cut a paperclip with them once. But no marks were left of the blades.
