Pros and Cons: PROS: 1. Includes an unpainted father figure and Rei in plugsuit 2. Comes with a very good variety of weapons which are: > Unit 01 Progressive knife > Unit 02 Progressive 'boxcutter' knife > Pallet Rifle (has Eva-01 engraved on it). > Sniper rifle. > An Axe? > Handgun. > Spear of Longinus > Smash Hawk Shield 3. Translucent pieces for the top green dome and red eye. 4. Very easy to do panel lining that pops out wonderfully. A panel lining marker is your best friend here. 5. there aren't a lot of fine details needed to paint in, so its relatively easy to paint in whatever is missing to match the tv show. 5. Captures the overall shape well. It really does capture the visual look of the evangelion with fantastic proprotions when you compare it to the anime. CONS: 1. The stickers are abysmal. You might as well paint these yourself. Many stickers are applied over surfaces with creases and curvatures. Even the best sticker application still looks awkward and can chafe around the edges easily. The stickers are servicable if you just want to build the kit and top-coat it; however, abysmal if you want it to look really nice. 2. not dismantle friendly. some parts are brittle, be careful when putting them together. Trying to use a brick part separator- i accidentally snapped part of a peg inside the pallet rifle. After 2 minutes of carefully easing its perimeter up. I think even with an $8 part separator, you'll find many pieces that should not come apart once put together. 3. Limited horizontal arm motion. So the arms are rubber coated. The axis of rotation around their shoulders are 360 degress. However, its horizontal axis of motion is about 60 degrees. your posability with weapons and gear is rather restricted by this. Over all its a good kit.
