MG sized HG
This MG model kit is a great for beginners who want to build gunplas, due to how simple the inner frame is which has not moving parts. It looks cool on your shelf too.

I bought this kit to check out low-price MGs and was pleasantly surprised by the outcome. Not only was this a straightforward and fun build, but the kit looks great once finished! I wasn't crazy about the design when I bought it but now that I see it every day I have come to really love this kit's style.

New Favorite
This was an absolute joy to build. It was very simple compared to the RX-78 3.0 I had built before it, but that is not a complaint at all. It is so, so solid. Every time I built a new section I was blown away by how secure every point of articulation is. I bought this kit to practice some modifying on, but after I was halfway through, I couldn't bring myself to practice on it! I put it on an action base and it poses up a storm. I didn't love the design initially but after I built it, it has a sweet spot in my heart. Definitely recommend this one. An experienced builder could build this one very fast, by the way. Even with my obsessive nub cleanup I was done in 2 or 3 sessions.
