The Black Luster Soldier, the chaotic super warrior of light and darkness from "Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters," is now a member of Bandai's "Figure-rise Standard Amplified" figure-kit lineup!
It's molded in great detail for a sleek and sharp finish. Polarized molding is used for the dark blue part of the armor, so the color tone changes depending on the angle of the light source!
The armor and shield are made with sophisticated parts division for a precise look. The figure is fully posable after assembly, too. Interchangeable right hands are included to add expression to poses with the sword; the shield can be attached to the Soldier's back with an included joint!

Detailed with one flaw
This kit is super well detailed, color separation is insane and the polarized plastic has a great look to it. Everything about this kit would be perfect except that the arms have a miserable outward movement, inhibiting a lot of dynamic slashing poses.
EDIT: as it turns out the armor part is just kind of jank, the arm can move out fine it just felt like it wouldn't after I built this. Most of everything else I said still stands.
Let's be honest though, most people who bought this will probably be best off posing the monster standing valiantly... or like the card art. They did the design some insane justice and next to Exodia this is yet another killer kit in the Yu-Gi-Oh line, I really hope this line continues.
