It's a hybrid. The inner skeleton is pre-built (like RGs) and uses plastic and metal. The armor needs to be cut from runners and placed onto the frame to build up the final figure.

Really good kit
Kit went together super smooth and only had 2 spots where I needed glue due to a super thin piece being a little curved. The metal pieces are very good and the fitment was tight. It is a very pointy/sharp kit.
