Got this as a gift from my stepdad when I expressed interest in getting into painting my Gundam kits. There is a bit of a learning curve if you want to use air other than Mr. Hobby’s brand, as the fittings on the included hose and adapter/valve unit have a proprietary thread that basically doesn’t exist anywhere else, so you can only use the included hose/adapter with Mr. Hobby brand canned air. I mean, it definitely makes sense from a business standpoint, but for convenience/practicality it’s kind of frustrating. All that aside, it works way better than I was expecting. I was a bit weary because I had heard from a few fellow Gundam builders that it didn’t work and was essentially just a gimmick; but my experience says otherwise. If you’re looking to get into airbrushing, this is the perfect thing to do it with. If you’re looking to get the most out of your Gundam Markers, this is a great choice. I wound up purchasing the Gundam Marker Airbrush that came with a traditional fitting so I can use it with a compressor, so now I have a compressor set up for home use, and a canned air set up for travel. If you’re like me and you absolutely love your Gundam Markers and want to get the most out of them, I highly suggest you start here.

I'm just getting into airbushing and painting, but I already had several sets of Gundam Markers so this is perfect. Gundam Markers may not be the best thing to paint with compared to "dedicated" paints, but like I said, if you already have them it's a good intro into airbrushing This does fit a compressor, you just need an adapter set you can get just about anywhere. I set my compressor to ~20-25 PSI.
