This is my first Hexa Gear build but I've built a few other kits and I usually expect them to resemble what's on the box but this one just disappointed me on a lot of levels. I think it mostly has to do with the scale. Since it's small -- about the size of a Frame Arms Girl hand scale -- there are less parts / joints and so it seems like some of the parts that would usually be their own separate color are combined into one piece such as the knee pads. In this case the knee pads are the same color as the pants -- tan. I would not recommend this kit for a newbie who does not want to paint a kit however since I want to make this look good it's pushing me to learn to paint so that will be my next step.
