What are the big differences between this and the MG version?
Answer
Totally different molds, with this NG being a lot smaller and blockier overall and the MG being superior in basically every way. It's basically a big HG of that time with no internal frame and limited detailing, though at least it's mostly color-accurate. Overall a it's cheaper alternative to the MG but if you can I'd really recommend getting said
MG, I also think they probably reprinted it just to go along with the other 1/100 Destiny kits that are getting reprinted for larger lineup.

Good for it's age
For a 2005 kit, it's rather good and is very spot-on when it comes to color accuracy. The articulation is fairly standard for a 2000s kit (2-jointes knees, 1-jointed elbows, stuff like that).
The only gripe i have is the left arm on mine is hard to pop out for the plane mode, and the Core Splendor is fairly color inaccurate. But aside from that, I'd reccomend!
