A nice kit for an intermediate builder
Overall this is a nice Mecha Musame kit with some good customization options. Out of the box everything had a nice feeling to it. Plastic feels study and is well molded. Although a couple parts did have a habit of dropping off when posing; though can be fixed by glue. The joints are all tight, though one or two feel a bit too tight. Most joints are of the hinge type. It comes with 3 pre printed faces and a few blank ones with eye and mouth stickers for custom faces. However there are some flaws. The missiles in the rocket pods are the same blue plastic as the rest, so you will have to paint them if you want them to stand out. Also the metallic silver looking hydraulics on the thinner legs are an outright lie. They are the same gray plastic as the rest of the legs. If you want that, you will have to paint them.
The kit comes with a lot of customization options. For instance the clear plastic parts came with both the orange (As shown in the official art) and red plastics. you also get two different arms and leg sets, and upper torso and head. However if you want to use the wings you MUST use the "armored" upper torso, as this is the only one with the proper sockets built in. Also the back of the hair on the human head sticks down enough that when using it with the armored torso, the head can't tip back.
The included stand is good, and comes with options for mounting the drone weapons. However the way the main figure attaches to it feels kind of weak, and the figure wobbles slightly in a room with a fan on
The build overall was okay. Almost every part is undergated, so you will have clean parts, but of course have to do a good job cleaning up excess plastic from the undergates, as most of the construction is sandwiching parts together. Leaving this plastic will result in poor fitment of parts. Also there are several small parts that can be hard to insert as they have to be put on D shaped pegs that are so subtle that I had trouble seeing them, but keep the part from going in any way but the way they are meant to. The instructions were decent, though some parts can be a bit tricky to follow and require some thought or trial and error to figure out.
Overall, I felt that this kit was worth the $73 I spent on it, despite the flaws I have written about. I purchased this kit on the "it looks cool" factor and it does not disappoint there.
